I am a PhD student in the Computer Science at the University of Southern California in the Autonomous Networks Research Group where I am advised by Prof. Bhaskar Krishnamachari. My research focuses on the design and development of artificial intelligence systems to address real world problems that pertain to decision making and control tasks. Specifically, I employ reinforcement learning as a framework for modeling and reasoning under uncertainties with applications that span in safe operations of educational environment to sustainable food production. I received my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Kenya in 2015.
